Bernard ‘Bernie’ Bains is a very well known name in the 457th Bomb Group Association. Not only was he an English historian he was also a collector of photos, letters and documents about the 457th Bomb Group.
The Bernie Bains collection holds over 2000 photos. Besides the photo collection we have 100 of letters and 1000 of pages of documentation that Bernie Bains collected over many years.
