Dick Wyman arrived at Glatton Field in January of 1944, shortly before operations began. These images are from his personal scrapbook. Dick remained at Glatton Field until June 1944 when he returned to America. He arrived in Swampscott, Mass. in time for the 4th of July that summer.
Dick worked in the 457th Bomb Group Photo Lab with Bill Mach of Michigan, Ed Federica of Mass., Bob Hadley of Detroit, and others. Dick lived in Maitland, Florida with his wife Ginny, and passed away July 3rd 2014.
