Here is a collection of (nose) art made by Cpl. Lester Fried. Most of these images would have been made on request by the owner of the A-2 jacket. Some of this art can be seen on B-17’s of the 457th Bomb Group but others not. For instance the first A-2 jacket in this collection ‘Ding Bat II’ is not based on a B-17 in the group. The jacket belonged to Lt. Fayette Dennison.
