Many planes stopped at Glatton Airbase during the war. Everytime a ‘new’ type of plane landed the guys from the photo lab were there to get some photos. Not all the photos in this collection are from actual visits to Glatton. Some were made in the US and some were made at other bases in the UK. Fact is that these photos are in the 457th Bomb Group Association archives so worth of sharing on this page.

Some of the planes made emergency visits others just visited the base. Fighters, bombers, English or American we will see all sorts in this collection of photos!
