Information: There are three eyewitness accounts as what happened to this B-17. One stated it was under attack by an enemy fighter and 10 to 15 20mm round were fired at the cockpit and bombay area. Another one stated that the ship was on fire and the last one stated that the ship exploded and the tail came off.
