Hugh H. Arnold was a (lead)pilot in the 457th Bomb Group. After two years of training he started flying missionsfrom March 1945 on. He was only 20 years old when he became the commander of his B-17 and crew. Through his letters we get an insight into his life, training and flying missions. We would like to thank Hugh H.
